Centenary Baptist is committed to supporting mission work
both here in Australia and throughout the world.
We seek to pray often and to give generously
of our finances to help spread the gospel.
The mission endeavours that we support are varied.
One is a couple involved in translating the bible into a language used by a remote hill tribes people in south east asia with Wycliffe.
Another family is currently planting churches through working with OMF in Southern Thailand.
Closer to home, there is a couple in Brisbane who head up the work of Power to Change, evangelising and discipling overseas students at Brisbane Universities.
The church provides some level of support to a young family who are evangelising Turkish people under the banner of Pioneers.
We have a group of young people who are on fire for the Lord and are committed to finding where God would have them serve Him in other parts of the world. The church strives to help them find their path and assist in their preparation and plan for their long term support wherever this is feasible.
The church is also blessed to be able to pray for and encourage several chaplains involved in providing comfort and support to hospital patients, school, and aged care.
