Our Senior Pastor David Hicks retired at the end of 2023

David grew up in Ethiopia, the son of missionaries. After training in Australia he and his family spent 10 years working in the Sudan and Ethiopia.
David's vision includes the church growing as a caring family of Christ followers - people who love Christ, each other and the Scriptures.
David has been in Christian ministry for over 25 years and is married to Sylvia. They have three grown children and two grandchildren.

After serving for 10 years at Centenary Baptist Church David has decided to retire from full time ministry.
