SCRIPTURE PASSAGE: Luke 9:28-45

SERIES: Seeing Jesus Clearly

Here we see two diametrically opposed settings – the divine being displayed in Jesus’ transfiguration on the top of the mountain, and the broken world at the bottome of the mountain where his disciples are unable to heal a boy possessed by a demon. Our lives can revolve around those mountain top experiences, and dealing with the real world. How do we stay faithful in these situations?

We’re calling the series “Seeing Jesus Clearly”, because in all we do we want to be seeing more and more of who Jesus is and how He constantly and emphatically impacts our lives every day. It’s so good for us to spend this time reading and studying through the life of Jesus again and again.
