Our heart at Centenary Baptist Church is to be a group of people committed to loving and following Jesus. The purpose of Centenary Baptist Church is to glorify God in every way.

We are a local Baptist Church, which is part of the Queensland Baptist Movement. We hold to the generally accepted Baptist Distinctives of:

• The Direct Lordship of Christ
• The Authority of Scripture.
• The Priesthood of all Believers.
• Regenerate Church Membership
• Congregational Church Government.
• The Autonomy of the Local Church.
• The Two Ordinances – Baptism and The Lord’s Supper.
• The Separation of Church and State.
• Freedom of Conscience and Religious Liberty.

We practically do this by meeting together regularly (each Sunday) for a time of worship, fellowship and sitting under the preached Word of God. We also do this by finding ways to care for one another and our community as well as supporting numerous missionaries who have dedicated their lives to taking the good news of Jesus to the world, both here and overseas.
