It’s exciting when you start to see plans come to fruition. Luke is creating that tension of excited anticipation through the narrative of John the Baptist’s birth – as the reader we notice that God is clearly at work through all of this. God is at work in Israel, and what will come of it?

We’re calling the series “Seeing Jesus Clearly”, because in all we do we want to be seeing more and more of who Jesus is and how He constantly and emphatically impacts our lives every day. It’s so good for us to spend this time reading and studying through the life of Jesus again and again.
