As Christ has Built His Church, the Holy Spirit has gifted the members of the Church with gifts to succeed in the ministry of the Church. In particular the Holy Spirit has given certain people gifts of leadership and governance. This means Jesus has built His Church with a certain structure of authority. Today we look at the roles of Elder and Deacon, as well as the responsibility we all have as members of His Church.

In this 10 week sermon series, we are goin to take an indepth look at being a Biblical Church.  Knowing our Identity as Christ’s Church is fundamental for the Christian, because our lives are designed to be lived in community.  Jesus has saved us not just as individuals but as ‘His people, a Holy Nation’ and we only truly find our identity as a believer when we find our identity in the Church.
